This is a translation. The Italian version is the legally binding one: read it in Italian.
Accessibility statement for the PassoDigitale24 website: what has been done, known limitations and how to report a problem.
I want everyone to be able to use this website well, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with the keyboard only, enlarge the text or have difficulty with animations. This page says honestly what has been done and what has not.
1. My commitment
As my reference I use the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, level AA, the international standard for website accessibility. The website has not been externally audited, so I do not claim certified compliance. I state the measures I have applied, and I commit to fixing anything that does not work.
2. What I have done
- Alternative text on the images that matter. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers. Images generated with artificial intelligence are labelled as such.
- A “Skip to content” link at the start of every page, for keyboard users.
- A tidy heading structure, with only one main heading per page, and the page language declared (Italian or English).
- Forms with labels that screen readers can read, and consent boxes that are never ticked in advance.
- If you have turned on “reduce motion” in your system, the animations stop.
- The video at the top is purely decorative: it has no sound and contains no information that you cannot also find in the text.
- You can enlarge the text in your browser without losing any content.
- Keyboard users can always see where they are: every selected link and button has a clearly visible outline.
- Every page has its main areas marked (header, content, footer), so screen readers can jump straight to them. Wide tables can also be scrolled with the keyboard.
On 3 October 2026 I checked every page with an automated test (axe, WCAG 2.1 A and AA criteria), on desktop and on mobile: no errors found. An automated test does not find everything, which is why manual checks remain in the limitations below.
3. Known limitations
- Text over videos and colour gradients cannot be measured by the automated test: I am checking them by hand.
- The assistant window and the portfolio carousel are still being tested with the keyboard only and with screen readers.
- The legal pages and this page are also available in English: they are translations, and the Italian version is the binding one.
4. What the law says
Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) has applied, transposed into Italian law by D.Lgs. 82/2022. Microenterprises that provide services (fewer than 10 people and annual turnover of no more than 2 million euros) are exempt from its obligations.
PassoDigitale24 falls under this exemption: this statement is voluntary and comes from the way I want to work.
5. Report a problem
If there is something you cannot read or use, write to me. I reply personally and, if needed, I will send you the same information in another format.
